Here at rebel Financial, we pride ourselves in being able to give opportunities to students and recent graduates entering the work force. Our internships are designed to give hands-on experience with Financial Advising, Financial Planning, Marketing, Technology, and more. Interns work directly with our advisors and managers in each department to insure they gain the best experience possible. We believe it is important to help the next generation of professionals become successful and we want to be apart of their impact they make in the world. Niket Shah

Investment Management Intern Niket goes to school at The Ohio State University and will be a senior in the fall semester. He's studying Consumer & Family Financial Services. After graduation, Niket plans to move to Phoenix, Arizona, and work as an Investment Analyst. He also plans to study for his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification while working full time and try to get his certification over the next few years.

Katie Doherty

Financial Advisory Intern Kathryn Doherty was a part of the 2021 summer intern team. She is a student at Smith studying Economics with a concentration in Financial Institutions. She plays on the Smith Rugby team and in her free time she enjoys spending time with her friends and her cats. After graduating she hopes to become a Certified Financial Planner and help people achieve their financial goals!Financial Advisory Intern Kathryn Doherty was a part of the 2021 summer intern team. Financial Advisory Intern Vinny currently attends The Ohio State University and plans on graduating in Spring 2022. He's majoring in Finance while also minoring in Real Estate. He plans on working in corporate finance after graduating and will start working on getting his CFA!

OJ Ojeomogha

Financial Planning Intern OJ currently goes to Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. He is pursuing a Ph.D. in Personal Financial Planning. His plan is to work within the industry for a couple of years and teach later on. OJ is primarily interested in creating financial awareness for families and the minority communities he interacts with. Estate planning and elder care to avoid estate plan abuse is also another focus. He wants to encompass all of these elements in the future.

Olivia Dado

Marketing Intern Olivia attended Kent State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Advertising and a minor in Marketing in August 2020. After learning and developing numerous new marketing skills from her internship with rebel Financial, she is moving to Chicago where she can implement these skills into her next career.

Poojitha Thulluru

Technology Intern Poojitha Thulluru is an International student currently go to Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio. She is pursuing a master's in Information systems. After graduating in Spring 2021, Poojitha plans to work as a full-time developer in top companies like Amazon, Microsoft, and more. In her spare time, she loves spending time with family and traveling to new places.

Perin Shah

Technology Intern Perin is currently pursuing his Master's in Computer Science at the University of Dayton. After college, Perin wants to pursue his career in Network/Cyber security.

Mera Cronbaugh

Financial Planning Intern Mera studied at Ohio State University working towards a bachelor’s in Economics and Russian, with a minor in Consumer and Family Financial Services. After graduating in spring 2021, Mera plans on working abroad for a year before enrolling in graduate school to study applied economics. She hopes to use family financial planning in conjunction with economic research to empower under-resourced communities internationally, and to always put people before profits!

Sharon Ndirangu

Financial Planning Intern Sharon studied at The Ohio State University working towards a bachelor’s in Consumer Science and Family Financial Services. She spends her free time painting, drawing, and catching up on celestial documentaries. She also enjoys attending car shows. After graduating in December 2020, Sharon hopes to get involved with a company that prioritizes its clients more than profits, and inspire women of color to keep helping their communities.

Anna Johnston

Marketing Intern Anna studied at The Ohio University working towards a bachelor’s in Information Graphics and Publication Design and a minor in Business Administration. In her free time, Anna paints, takes photos, and relaxes with friends. She also enjoys spending quality time with her dogs and undertaking creative projects of many different facets. After graduation in spring 2021, she plans to work in User Experience Design.

Summer 2019

Catarina Prisbrey

Catarina was a senior at Dixie State University in St. George, UT. She was working towards a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a minor in Digital Design, and aspires to start her career in marketing. Catarina enjoys outdoor adventures such as hiking, camping, and off-roading. In her spare time, she likes to draw, take pictures, and cook.

Chance Billiter

Chance Billiter is a 2019 graduate of Ohio University. During his time at Ohio University, he majored in Finance and was a member of the Financial Management Association and the Econ Society Club. He plans to stay within the financial services industry in the future through a career in financial planning. In his free time, he likes to watch The Office or hang out with his twin nephews, Maverick and Easton.

Kirsten Carver

Kirsten was the investment management and charitable engagement intern and was attending Ohio University to study finance and analytics. In the future, she hopes to get a job that helps people better their financials and make a difference. In her free time, she enjoys reading and playing with her pet dog and bunny.

Annie Lisle

Annie was a third-year student at Ohio State University. She was pursuing a bachelor of science in business administration, with a focus on finance, and a minor in public policy. She is an investment management intern and has aspirations to combine her two passions of both policy and finance in the future. In her spare time, Annie enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and exploring.

Summer 2018

Dillon Wilhelm

Dillion joined rebel Financial’s intern team in the Summer of 2018. He graduated from OSU with a Major in Economics. Leaving rebel in the fall, Dillion has returned to his hometown near Cleveland and has obtained a job as an investment analysis.

Damani Barnes

Damani joined rebel Financial in the Summer of 2018. He graduated from Ashland University with a Major in Business Administration and a Minor in Finance. Lives an active lifestyle after competing as a collegiate track athlete for Ashland University. He is currently working on obtaining his Kaplan Series 65 license to specialize in 401k. Favorite hobbies include lifting, being a music Dj, and coaching youth basketball.

Brad Siekmann

Brad joined rebel Financial for the Summer of 2018 as a Financial Planning Intern. He is entering his final year at The Ohio State University as a Finance major in the Fisher College of Business. He is involved in the Navy ROTC program at OSU and upon graduation, he will enter the US Navy where he hopes to begin training to become a Navy Pilot. He has two older brothers, one is in the Air Force and the other is a Doctor in Emergency Medicine. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and watching movies.

Rachel Roher

Rachel joined rebel Financial in the Summer of 2018 as a financial planning intern. She will be a senior at The Ohio State University in the fall continuing her degree in Consumer and Family Financial Services. She is on track to earn her Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation upon graduation. In her free time, Rachel likes to enjoy the outdoors while running and hiking, try new vegan recipes, and spend quality time with friends.

Pawan "Deep" Singh

Business Development Officer
Deep was in his final year of studies as an undergraduate at The Ohio State University with a major in Consumer and Family Financial Services. He is currently on track to earn his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Deep interned for rebel in 2017 and maintained a full-time position into 2018.

Beniva Ganther

Financial Planning Intern
Beniva interned in the Fall of 2017 as a financial planning intern. Beniva is originally from Columbus, Ohio and is now at school in St. Louis and returned there after her internship. While at rebel, Beniva helped create a financial calculator project and worked on multiple client projects.

George Dial

Investment Management Intern
George interned at rebel Financial in the Fall of 2017 as an investment management intern. He attends the Ohio State University and is majoring in Consumer and Family Financial Services. George loves investments and would like to dive deeper into the investment realm as a career. He assisted with many client projects throughout his time at rebel Financial and will be graduating in December of 2017.

Kelly McCallan

Marketing Intern
Kelly interned at rebel Financial in the Summer of 2017 as a marketing intern. Kelly worked on brochures, events, website information, and social media. Kelly curated social media and increased online interactivity. She has gone back to school at OU and is currently working as a web developer/digital marketing intern.

Brendan May

Financial Planning Intern
Brendan worked as a Financial Planning intern in the summer of 2016. Brendan used research to improve portfolios for clients and analyzed returns and drafted financial plans. He also scheduled meetings for the company and worked on the website. Brendan graduated from the Fisher College of Business, went on to work for the Senate, and now has a job as a financial analyst with American Airlines.

Grace Albers

Financial Planning Intern
Grace is originally from TN, where she lived until 2005 before planting her roots in northern Ohio. She was a senior at Ohio State majoring in Finance and minoring in Chinese at the time of her internship. In her free time, she enjoys rollerblading, playing with pets, practicing languages, being outside, and spending time with her beloved family and friends.
